What is Buy/Sell Unlisted Share Platform (BSUS)?
The Buy/Sell Unlisted Share Platform (BSUS) is a marketplace that facilitates the buying and selling of unlisted and promoter shares of public/private companies in compliance with regulatory requisites. Nepse Lightning's BSUS platform brings transparency and structure to Nepal's unlisted shares market.
Objective of BSUS Platform?
The BSUS platform is designed to simplify and streamline the buying and selling of illiquid unlisted shares, making transactions quick and accessible right at your fingertips. We aim to democratize access to pre-IPO and unlisted shares in Nepal.
What is Bid/Ask Price?
The bid price is the maximum price a buyer is willing to pay for shares. The ask price is the minimum price a seller is willing to accept for their shares. This creates a transparent pricing mechanism for unlisted shares.
What is Bid/Ask Price Range?
The bid/ask price range is the percentage (%) terms for calculating the floor and cap price. However, the range is limited to 20% of the base price to ensure fair pricing and prevent market manipulation.
What is Floor Price?
The floor price is the minimum acceptable price for a transaction. It's calculated based on the base price minus the price range percentage, ensuring sellers have a minimum price protection.
What is Cap Price?
The cap price is the maximum acceptable price for a transaction. It's calculated based on the base price plus the price range percentage, ensuring buyers have a maximum price protection.
What are hot deals?
Hot deals are active offers on the platform that have received significant interest or meet certain criteria for visibility. These are highlighted to help users discover the most relevant opportunities quickly.
Who can participate in the BSUS Platform?
Both individual investors and organizations can participate in the BSUS platform. Sellers must provide proof of ownership (Mero share statements, share certificates, etc.) and comply with SEBON regulations.
Is this limited to only listed companies?
No, the BSUS platform supports both listed and unlisted companies. This includes pre-IPO companies, private companies, and promoter shares from public companies, making it a comprehensive marketplace for all types of unlisted shares.
Can private companies participate in the BSUS Platform?
Yes, private companies can participate. As per NRB regulations, private companies may have a maximum of 50 promoters. Our platform facilitates trading of unlisted shares from both public and private companies.
Do I need to fulfill regulatory requisites?
Yes, all participants must comply with SEBON (Securities Board of Nepal) regulations. Sellers must provide valid proof of ownership, and all transactions must comply with applicable securities laws. We ensure all submissions are reviewed for regulatory compliance.
